MERCHANT RULES

Hi 1L1H Friends

Until now everyone has had freedom to do things as they wanted but there are complaints because many merchants do not meet the minimum standards. If you are an admited merchant of your want to apply as merchant, please read the rules.

  • You must have the object "1 Linden 1 Hour Subscriber" in your store or event, in a visible place. It is MANDATORY, especially if you have a panel with all the logos of the events you are part of but this.
  • You must do the event correctly: the 1L1H vendors must always be rezzed, and whenever you wish to do a promo, edit content, add the item and its texture, click on the object and choose "RUN" from the menu.  It's absolutely FORBIDDEN to use the 1L1H object as vendor to sell its content, without having the countdown running. In this case any notice sent to the group is considered as SPAM.
  • The notices must ALWAYS describe: Name of the item you are offering for 1L1H, SLURL and Image of the item. Alternatively, you can use a notecard with the landmark, image of the 1L1H promo item, and info about your store, but the offered item must always be clearly visible.
  •  Notices promoting other events or products without offering a new 1L1H promo are strictly forbidden. Notices with 1L1H promo AND info about other sales are fine.
  • There is a limit of 5 notices per day each merchant can send. You can be creative and send 1 promo with a notecard including all the offerings, or snapshots of all the nice things you’re using as promo. Too many customers turned notices off because of way too many being sent, and this goes against the goal of our group. Last but not least, you must wait at least 15 minutes from the last notice by another merchant before sending your promo. Let’s give customers time to roam around the store or the event and find something interesting to buy, before moving to the next 1L1H!.

Before hitting send, just ask yourself: Did you put the name of the object in the title or in the description? Is the image of the object or a notecard with it attached? If the answer to these two questions is no, the notice is not allowed.

  • The group must be used at least once a month. If you do not run any promotions in a month, you will be ejected or have your notice rights revoked.
  • The SLURL doesn't need to bring customers exactly in front of the 1L1H panel. People must get used to walking a little. If you have 3 promotions, the panels do not have to be at the landing point. We are sorry If people complain, but the creators should get something out of this promotion, at least customers can walk a little and see the rest of our creations.

This does not mean that it is a HUNT, the panels should be easily located and people should be helped to find them (“it is in the party clothes section”, for example).

Also, the group is PG, you are allowed to use adult items for your promo but the ad must be PG (meaning no exposed genitalia).
